It’s a subtle and insidious tactic often employed in relationships, making it difficult to recognize. Understanding the silent signs of gaslighting can help individuals protect themselves and seek support when needed.


One of the hallmark signs of gaslighting is persistent denial of facts or events. Gaslighters often dismiss their partner's concerns or memories, leading the victim to doubt their own recollection. For example, if you confront your partner about a hurtful comment they made, and they vehemently deny it or say you’re being overly sensitive, it’s a red flag.
